Keep the kids entertained before Easter dinner with these DIY activity card placemats and DIY some adorable bunny crayon holders, too!
Supplies:
- Easter Activity Sheet and/or Easter Egg Coloring Sheet
- OL3033 labels in matte white from Online Labels
- Cardstock or construction paper
There are 2 printables available. The activity sheet is fun for older children and includes Easter-themed connect-the-dots, word scramble, maze, coloring, and jokes. The other sheet is a fun Easter egg coloring activity great for younger children.
These activity sheets can also be printed on regular paper and glued to a sheet of cardstock.
Simply print the activity sheets on the labels and place the labels on a sheet of paper. I off-centered the label to leave room for creative drawing. The addition of a little bow allows children to practice their tying skills and adds a decorative element to the activity sheets.
These can act as placemats at the Easter table!
This little bunny craft is super simple to create and makes it easy to keep crayons contained and within reach at the Easter table.
Supplies:
- Kraft cardstock
- Empty toilet paper or paper towel roll
- Black Sharpie
- Washer (1 per bunny)
- Cotton balls
- Hot glue gun
Cut ear and feet shapes from the cardstock. Also cut two 2-inch circles.
Cut the toilet paper roll in half. Use the Sharpie to draw a bunny face on the toilet paper roll, and feet and ears on cut out shapes.
Use hot glue to adhere the washer to the center of one of the circles. Hot glue feet to the circle as well. Adhere 2nd circle on top of the first circle to hide the washer. The addition of the washer will keep the bunny from tipping over when filled with crayons.
Hot glue toilet paper tube to top of circle, keeping glue to the inside of the tub. Glue on ears and cotton ball tail.
You can also stock the bunny with Easter stickers for the children to use on their placemat activity sheets.
