Drakensberg Ballooning
Unless anyone in your household has a fear of heights, this is a great way to enjoy a panoramic and scenic view of the whole Kwazulu-Natal. These hot air balloon flights are worth every second.Â

Drakensberg Canopy Tour
Welcome to Africa's very first elevated rock face walkway! They have a mix of cliff face and treetop platforms with cable slides over the forest up to 60m high! You can glide between the platforms and enjoy the view of the majestic Drakensberg, waterfalls, cascading streams and the ancient indigenous forest. Booking is essential as they are only open on selected days. And although there is no specific age restrictions, the recommended age to do this is between 7 and 70 years of age.Â

Hiking
There is a vast amount of local hikes with varying levels of ease. Among others some of these hikes include but are not limited to Rainbow Gorge (easy-moderate), Sugar Loaf (moderate), Giant's Cup Trail (strenuous) and Amphitheater Hike (strenuous). Farmers’ Lawn Market
Everyone enjoys a day at a local market. There is quite a lot of things to enjoy doing with your family. Enjoy the haystacks, coffee, beer, snacks, live music and curios available at different stalls. Do note that this is not a farmer's market solely for farmers to sell their produce as some may think. It is just a regular local market with stalls that have different products available.Â

This is a bird of prey centre that helps to rehabilitate and recover injured birds. You and your family can learn so much about these truly amazing birds and how to help with their conservation.
