Pampers keeps your baby dry all night for happy morning moments
JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – 12 October, 2017 As a loving mum, you understand the importance of a good night’s sleep for your baby, and research proves this right. One of the easiest ways to do this is by making sure your baby can enjoy uninterrupted time to sleep. A well-rested baby makes for lovable happy morning moments.
We understand that night-time waking can be tiring and frustrating for you. However, your baby waking easily is actually a good thing. It means that your baby can respond to changes in his physical state or environment. In fact, waking during the night is, in itself, part of ‘normal’ sleep. It is important that babies are not unnecessarily disturbed and can easily return to sleep following any ‘normal’ wakes.
Through Pampers’ extensive research on sleep, we’ve learned that babies are more vulnerable to waking up during the window of urination, making it especially important that nothing else disturbs your baby during that time. “My suggestion is to choose a reliable nappy that helps ensure that a baby’s natural sleep cycle will not be interrupted to change a wet, uncomfortable nappy. It’s as important not to disturb your baby when he/she sleeps, as it is to allow natural sleep cycling,” explains Sister Lilian, renowned midwife and parenting expert.
Babies usually fall asleep about 15 minutes after lights out, but for some babies, it might take up to 25 minutes. If it takes more than 30 minutes for your baby to fall asleep, specialists advise you may need to consider changing baby’s bedtime routine or look at different elements to ensure your baby is comfortable and dry all night long.
To make sure mums around South Africa won’t have to worry about that, Pampers is proud to be the titleholder of the driest diaper in South Africa, with the Active Baby-Dry range.
Utilising Absorbent Micro Pearls, Stretchy Sides, Top Dry-Layer, Extra Sleep-Layer and a breathable outer cover, every Active Baby-Dry diaper will ensure your baby a dry and comfortable night’s sleep.
