Why are newborns wrapped so tight? - 4aKid

Wrapping a newborn tightly is called swaddling. It helps soothe babies, and, as Dr. Karp explains, has been shown to help babies sleep longer due to replicating womb-like conditions and helping control babies’ Moro reflex.
