So yesterday (25 September 2020) we had quite an exciting afternoon at the office and my home!
Cynthia, one of our packing ladies here at 4aKid and 4aPet who was 7 months pregnant with twins went into preterm labour. Before the ambulance got here, the babies starting crowning and it was time for the birth. Thankfully an Emer-G-Med (Pty) Ltd paramedic arrived just as she was about to give birth and started assisting with the birth, including my amazing domestic who helped with the birth of the first twin. Hatzolah Medical Rescue JHB arrived on the scene and took over, handling the birth of the twins and stabilizing them for transport to Joburg Gen and ER24 EMS (Pty) Ltd. provided an ambulance with an incubator at no charge to us due to the fact there were no government ambulances available to assist her and the babies. We cannot thank these 3 organization's enough and the teams that helped Cynthia and her babies in this medical emergency. You are all amazing and helped bring these two beautiful and healthy babies into the world. Cynthia and her babies are doing well thankfully and will be home soon. Who thought that twins would born at 4aKid and at my home yesterday. What a double blessing for all. We can officially say we now have 4aKid twins LOL ❤💙
