Serves: 16
Prep Time:
Ingredients:
- 125g margarine or butter softened
- 4 Mars bars, sliced
- 200g Kellogg’s
- Coco Pops
For the topping:
- 400g milk chocolate, broken up
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- 2 Mars bars, sliced
Instructions:
- Put the margarine or butter and 4 sliced Mars bars into a non-stick pan. Heat gently, while stirring to combine. Pour in the Coco Pops and quickly stir, so they are evenly coated in the mixture. Turn the mixture into a greased 18cm x 28cm tin and press down so that the surface is level.
- For the topping, put the milk chocolate and sunflower oil into a bowl, resting over a pan of simmering water, and allow it to melt. Stir to combine thoroughly, then pour over the Coco Pops mixture in the tin. Arrange the 2 Mars bar slices on top. Chill in the fridge then cut into 16 bars to serve.
NOTES:
Instead of Coco Pops, you can make this with Rice Krispies. Try white chocolate for the topping.
