Ingredients

For the Crispy Chickpeas

Instructions

Prepare the Chickpeas

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Spread the chickpeas on a clean kitchen towel or paper towel and pat them dry thoroughly. The drier the chickpeas, the crispier they’ll be.

Season the Chickpeas

Transfer the chickpeas to a bowl and toss with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, ground cumin, chili powder (if using), salt, and black pepper. Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Roast the Chickpeas

Roast in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through to ensure even cooking. The chickpeas are ready when they are golden and crispy.

Make the Tahini Dip
