Clover Festive Custard cake

1 Cup Clover MooiRivier butter, at room temperature
2 Cups Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla essence
2 Cups Self-rising flour
1 tsp Salt
1 ½ Cups Clover Classic Custard
1 x 15cm Fruit cake, cut in half horizontally.
1.5 kg Butter cream
3 Strawberries, dipped in chocolate and dusted with gold dust
1 Gingerbread man
1 Gingerbread tree
1 Glazed doughnut
150g White chocolate
Preheat the oven to 180 o C.
Whip the butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Whip in the eggs one at a time. Add the flour and mix
until just combined. Fold in the custard and pour into 2x15 cm greased baking tins.
Bake for 25-30 minutes. Once a stick comes out clean, remove from the oven and allow the cake to cool
Place a custard cake onto a cake board. Spread a even amount of buttercream. Top with a slice of fruit cake,
even layer of buttercream and lastly another layer of custard cake. Cover the sides of the cake with
buttercream. Drip the sides of the cake with white chocolate. Decorate with the gingerbread man, gingerbread
tree, glazed donut and golden strawberries.
Place in the fridge to set for 2-3 hours. Slice and enjoy!!
