My favourite dessert is a flan pudding (also known as Creme Caramel). This silky smooth pud is a custard dessert with a layer of clear caramel sauce. Yum 🍮😍
Ingredients :
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 2 cups of milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- *Candy
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup water
Preperation:
In a saucepan, place the sugar and cook over medium heat until it melts and turns golden. Then lower the heat and gradually add the water, and stir constantly. Lumps of sugar will form, so you have to stir a lot until it melts. After the sugar cubes have melted well, turn off the heat and place the candy in a container. The caramel will be very runny, but when it cools it will be very thick. When the caramel is very cold, caramelize the flan mould.
For the flan, beat the claires and set aside. Place the condensed milk, egg yolks, milk and vanilla essence in the blender. Beat for 2 minutes and pour into a bowl. Go put the whites and mix gently until they are added. Pour the mixture in caramelized form. Bring to the preheated oven at 180°C in a bain-marie for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Unmold and refrigerate for 3 hours
